PRODUCT MANAGEMENT · WORKFLOW SYSTEMS

I build tools that help
teams get work done.

I’m Rohit, a product manager and systems builder with a mechanical engineering background at IIT Gandhinagar. My work spans editorial tools, mailing systems, live operations dashboards and B2B project workflows.

Case notes +

The context

Fair Observer’s work gave me a product role inside an organisation, building tools for its internal, editorial and mailing needs.

My contribution

As Founding Product Manager, I created internal systems, mailing systems and an editing engine. I also used Asana for project management at Fair Observer. These are concrete product areas I can discuss through their requirements, design choices and implementation.

Why it matters for B2B products

Internal software serves people doing recurring work. This experience connects to product questions about workflow fit, usability, adoption and the needs of different stakeholders.

Evidence to review

The strongest walkthrough pairs a system demonstration or redacted screenshot with its original problem, my ownership and an example of how someone used it. Supporting role and project records are available for discussion.

Case notes +

The context

Festival hospitality requires coordination around changing operational information. My technical project management work covered hospitality, a live dashboard and accreditation systems.

What I built

I created a full live dashboard and used Airtable and Starbase in the operational system work. This project combines system delivery with a live, people-intensive environment.

Why it matters for work-management products

This is relevant to how teams see status, coordinate their work and act on shared information. It brings real operational context to the design of dashboards and workflow tools.

Evidence to review

A redacted dashboard walkthrough, accreditation workflow and role records can explain the system scope and my contribution. Data sources, update frequency and access controls should be demonstrated through the actual implementation.

WORK I MANAGEDClient projects

Scope and coordination within real client delivery.

Case notes +

The context

PR article bidding is a recurring business process. At Famezop, I worked both on the system supporting it and on managing projects for clients.

My contribution

I created the PR article bidding system and managed client projects as a co-founder. This places system design alongside direct exposure to the business work it supports.

Why it matters for B2B software

The project is relevant to workflow and procurement products: understanding a business process, structuring it into a system and keeping the customer’s delivery needs in view.

Evidence to review

A sample bidding workflow and redacted client project can show the inputs, decisions, outputs and my ownership. Screenshots and records should establish the features and results actually delivered.

Product opportunityMake job status, preview approval and recovery visible in an operator queue.Proposed next iteration
Case notes +

The problem

An AI image becomes an event experience only when people can understand it, participate in it and receive the output. The booth needed a practical path from a guest portrait to a printed, framed takeaway.

What I did

I operated the booth with a colleague, bringing the lighting and capture setup, laptop processing, printer and output handover together at the event. My contribution spans the attendee experience and its practical delivery.

What was delivered

A live AI portrait activation with personalised framed outputs. This demonstrates a delivered experience; it does not imply that I trained the underlying AI model or shipped a fully automated SaaS product.

Next product question

How can the operator see each portrait’s status and recover from processing failures? My next iteration would explore a job queue, preview approval and a retry path. These are proposed improvements.

Evidence discussion: booth photographs, project scope and supporting delivery records can be reviewed on request. No throughput or satisfaction metrics are claimed here.

JALANDHAR
Case notes +

The problem

A branded event involves multiple workstreams that must meet at the same place and time. Venue constraints, production choices and guest flow have to be considered together.

The scope

The Fifth Jack’s work involved branded event environments, registration areas, stage branding, audiovisual coordination, onsite teams and AI portrait experiences across the two cities.

The decisions

Planning connected the attendee journey with physical layout, production scope, vendor coordination and installation. The project is a useful lens on how decisions in one workstream affect the rest.

What it demonstrates

Delivery under real constraints, coordination across different disciplines and attention to handoffs. This is program and experience delivery evidence, rather than a claim of software engineering ownership.

Supporting paperwork is available on request. Client scope, personal responsibility and delivery evidence should be reviewed together; client names do not imply employment or endorsement.

PROPOSED DATA MODEL / CONCEPT
COMPANYOne vendor identityProfile · contact · capabilities
CONTACTWho to call
EXHIBITIONWhere you met
REQUIREMENTWhat you need
RESPONSEWho can help
Product brief +

Problem hypothesis

Business cards and saved numbers capture a meeting, but often lose the context needed to contact the right supplier later. A shared vendor identity could connect contacts, capabilities and exhibition history.

MVP boundary

Start with card capture, a private contact record and a vendor profile claim. Explore requirement routing only after testing identity resolution and vendor consent. This is a proposed prioritisation, not an existing feature set.

Important tradeoff

User-contributed data can grow coverage while also creating duplicates and inaccurate claims. Private notes and public company facts need separate permissions; a submitted email is not automatically a verified identity.

Validation plan

Observe post-exhibition follow-up, test retrieval with a small prototype and measure time to find the relevant contact. For routing, test qualified responses and vendor willingness before scaling. No research results are asserted.

Independent concept. No launched platform, active users, revenue or matching performance is claimed.

THE CONNECTION / B2B PRODUCT WORK

Products for people
doing organisational work.

My strongest product experience comes from building internal tools and business workflow systems. These projects give me concrete examples to bring into conversations about B2B software.

02 / HOW I WORK

Clarity before complexity.

My product, engineering and founder experience connects the needs of people using a system with the practical work of delivering it.

01

Find the real problem.

Understand who needs the outcome, the existing process and where it breaks down.

02

Make the work visible.

Connect scope, responsibilities, constraints and handoffs so decisions have context.

03

Deliver, then improve.

Keep the first scope practical. Use what happens in delivery to shape the next iteration.

A WORK-MANAGEMENT LENS

People, dependencies
and AI belong in one picture.

At Fair Observer, I created internal, editorial and mailing tools. At IFFI, I built a live operations dashboard. At Famezop, I created a PR bidding system and managed client projects. These experiences connect directly to questions about team workflows, visibility, coordination and useful software.

03 / BACKGROUND

A builder’s path.

Entrepreneurship is part of my work history. It gives context to the decisions and responsibilities behind the portfolio.

Engineering foundation.
Independent ownership.

My background spans mechanical engineering, founding product management at Fair Observer, technical project management for IFFI hospitality and independent businesses in marketing and experiences. I connect business context with system design and practical execution.

I’m now exploring a full-time role where I can bring that perspective to a focused product or program team, including opportunities in Poland and other global markets.
